The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder

I have seen a lot of commotion within the past couple months about the new Estee Edit by Estee Lauder collection so I was beyond excited when my package showed up at the door!

The Estee Edit is a new beauty line created by Estee Lauder that is a more youth driven version of Estee Lauder. You still get the great products of Estee Lauder but its geared more towards whats on trend. The Estee Edit collection is exclusively sold at Sephora and on the Estee Lauder website.

In my package I received the Metallishadow Creme + Powder, Inside Track Eye Kajal, Radiance Activator Treat + Prep + Glow, and Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm.

The Metallishadow Creme + Powder in Black Star is a stacked pack of two shadows, a high impact matte creme shadow and a lose metallic powder. The duo is meant to be worn on it own or together for an awesome result. I love the packaging of this, theres no better way to store a creme shadow and loose pigment without the mess! It reminds me a bit of the Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eye Color.

The black creme shadow is very pigmented and super creamy! I found the best way to apply this is with your finger. It did leave a stain so I suggest wearing a primer underneath. I have yet to try this out but I bet the cream could also be worn as a liner!

The gray/silver loose pigment is a bit more sheer and could be worn on its own for a more subtle day time look. It adheres well to the creme shadow because of its creamy base. I think these two paired together makes a beautiful gunmetal smokey eye.

The Metallishadow Creme + Powder comes in 6 different shades. 3 are glitter finishes; Wild Cosmos, Solar Blast, and Cyberella. The other 3 are metallic finishes; Black Star, AquaNova, and Scarlet Eclipse.

The Inside Track Eye Kajal in Twisted Teal/Tarnished Gold is a dual-ended super creamy kajal pencil. Perfectly paired shade combinations to give you options galore. I'm not much of a liner girl but wow do I love this product. I think its one of the creamiest liners I have ever felt. I've also fallen in love with the Tarnished Gold color.

The Radiance Activator Treat + Prep + Glow is a 3-in-1 serum for instant, visible glow with long-term brightening and hydration. This can be applied under your moisturizer, mixed in with your foundation or buffed onto the hight points of your face for a natural highlight. It smells really nice and it gives you this glow from within. It contains hyaluronic acid to attract moisture to the skin which makes me believe that if you have oily skin this may not be a great product for you.

The Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm is a brightening eye balto improve the look of the delicate eye area, working to add radiance, sooth, and hydrate to give you a more awake look. It says it can be used either during the morning under or over makeup or at night. Personally I feel like the texture is a bit think to put under or over makeup so I feel like the best way to go is to put it on before bed. I love that this product have a metal applicator, its soothing on the skin when applying the product. For the ultimate cooling sensation I suggest storing this in the refrigerator.

This was my first time trying out products from the Estee Edit collection and I'm really impressed. I really wasn't sure what to expect because I was afraid they were just getting hyped up because of the famous faces of the brand but these products really stand up to the hype. I'm definitely going to have to check out some more products. Have you tried any? Have any suggestion or want me to test anything out??

Influenster L'Oreal Ever Cleansing Balms VoxBox

I'm not one to change up my hair products but recently I have been in a little funk with my hair. I have curly-wavey hair (depending on the day/weather/if my hair wants to cooperate). Recently my hair hasn't really been curling like normal and has lost some of it volume. My hairstylist says that as we get older our hair can change, so I could just be losing my curls. I refuse to believe this because as of now I shower, throw some mousse in it and my hairs done. I don't want to loose this routine because its fast and easy and my hair looks presentable in the end. I was lucky enough to be chosen to try out L'Oreals Ever Cleansing Balm.

This is L'Oreals EverCurl 6-in-1 Cleansing Balm for curly hair, this is apart of L'Oreals New #CleansingBalms line. This is my first sulfate-free product I have tried. I have only heard good things about sulfate free products and how good they are supposed to be for your hair. This product is a 6-in-1 cleaning balm, it is said to cleanse, treat, soften, condition, detangle and sine. The instructions say to use this in place of your conditioner and to leave in for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it out. Unlike other products it says to use 6 to 8 pumps and more for longer hair. This is a non-lather product so your need quite a bit to wash your hair, I have long and thick hair so I used about 10 pumps. It retails from anywhere between $9.99 at Target to $11.99 at Ulta.

I expected this product to be somewhat thick like the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, but it really was kinda in the middle between thick and thin. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of the product, my final reaction was pretty "meh". After my hair finally dried it looked a bit stringy, my curls weren't really any different than before, my hair felt dry and I think it kinda looked like horse hair. I don't think it really gave me any more volume than normal. I'm not sure if it didn't work because my hair has just been in a funk or this is how the product worked. Let me know if you have tried it and how it has been working for you. Or even better, let me know if you have curly hair and if you have any holy grail product for it! I would love to get my curls back.

Influenster SoapBox VoxBox

Im not one for switching up my hair products because I know what works for me so why change it? But I figured that its time to try something out since I haven't tried any different hair products since maybe freshman year of high school.

The first thing I did when I received this shampoo and conditioner combo was look up the company seeing as I have never heard of them before. I found out that SoapBox is an amazing company. SoapBox donates one bar of soap, fresh water, or vitamin supplements to a child in need for every product sold. So to start off I'm already a huge fan of this company.

Now onto the product. I believe that the shampoo and conditioner line is new for this company and that they originally started off with bar and liquid soap. I received the bataua fruit shampoo and conditioner. They explain that the bataua fruit is native to the Amazon rainforests of Brazil and long regarded for its root-to-tip hair repairing talent. Packed with essential fatty acids and amino acids, Bataua fruit oil works by nourishing both your scalp and hair. I couldn't quite put my finger on what the shampoo and conditioner smelled like but its definitely not a bad scent. The scent doesn't linger in the hair for long though. The shampoo lather nicely and the conditioner is nice as well and left my hair soft and smooth. I did have a bit of issue getting the tangles out of my hair at the beginning of the conditioner process. One thing I do love about these products is that it is sulfate and paraben-free!

Not only are these products affordable but they are now being sold at my favorite store... Target! You can also purchase their other products on the SoapBox website. I most definitely would suggest these products to friends because they don't only have an awesome product they have an amazing mission!

Influenster Reese's Spreads VoxBox

I'm not much of a chocolate lover, the only time I eat chocolate is usually when I get chocolate covered strawberries... which isn't often. So when I got the Reese's peanut butter chocolate spread I was hesitant.

Lets start with what this stuff is! Reese's state that this spread is "the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter flavors in spreadable form. Based on the iconic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Reese's Spread delivers the unique, one-of-a-kind combination of chocolate and peanut butter taste to any food, anytime, anywhere.

When I first saw this spread I thought that it was going to be similar to nutella, which I love on toast. So I figured when I would first try this spread on toast. It was the perfect night time snack! When I was younger and ate candy on the reg I loved Reese's. Also this spread is completely different the nutella! This is more thick and has small chunks of peanuts, which is one of my favorite parts about this spread, it gives it a really nice texture.

Reese's Spread can be paired with so many different foods. Personally I love it on toast and apples (and also on a spoon right out of the jar but we can keep that on the DL). Reese's gives the suggestion of trying Reese's Spread on pita chips, vanilla wafers (my next try), banana chips, pretzels, fruit, and bacon!

Reese's Spreads are now available nationwide at grocery, drug, and convenience stores in 13 oz. jars that retail for $3.89.

I personally really like this stuff. For someone who randomly gets sweet cravings at night this is a great way to cure those cravings! Let me know if any of you guys try it!

Influenster Dean's List VoxBox #DLVoxBox

About a little less than a month ago I was surprised to receive a beautiful green package at my door! Yes, I know... I'm so incredibly late on this review but school has been incredibly busy this semester. But I'm here now and happy to be back on my blog writing a review of these lovely products! This was my second VoxBox and it was nice that this time I got to review multiple products rather than one. Although I do love my Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish.

Since I am a college student I qualified for the Dean's List VoxBox. All of these products are supposed to help you get through your college days and make it a bit more exciting. The products in this box included: Airhead Bites, Pilot FriXion Clicker, Sinful Colors No Text Red, KISS Looks So Natural Lashes, Luden's Watermelon Throat Drops, Softlips Cube, and Playtex Sport Fresh Balance. If you're curious about any of the products, read on!

Lets start with my guilty pleasure, candy. The new air head bites remind me of the original air heads that I used to eat as a kid. These are just pop-able bite sized candy form of the originals. Nothing to special but these but they came in handy when I was craving something sweet while late night studying.

I loved getting the Pilot FriXion Clicker pens because as a designer you can never have to many pens! Its America's first retractable, erasable gel ink pen! They make taking notes and drawing so smooth and its perfect that if I ever make a mistake I can erase it. Once the ones I have run out I'm going to have to get some more! I highly recommend these pens.

I wasn't the one to try out the SinfulColors No Text Red because as I said in my last VoxBox post I'm not a huge ran of the color red on my nails. My roommate went to a formal and wore this and she really liked it! The reasoning behind this polish is to paint your thumb red as a reminder to not text and drive. I'm a big believer of no texting and driving so I fully support this campaign.

I haven't worn the KISS Looks So Natural Lashes yet because I haven't had anywhere to wear them to. I plan on wearing them next weekend to my fraternities semi formal. These lashes are made with Tapered End Technology so the lash strips blend seamlessly with your own lashes. I have used KISS lashes before and have really enjoyed them, they have always looked nice and really highlight your eyes. I can't wait to wear these to semi next weekend!

When I received this box I was just getting a cold so the Ludens Watermelon Throat Drops came in handy! I'm not a huge fan of the taste of watermelon so after I tried one I gave them to my Professor because she was also getting a cold. The throat drops soothed my sore throat but I just wasn't a fan of the flavor.

Once I saw the Softlips Cube I got incredibly excited! This 5 in 1 lip care combines an advanced formula with an innovative new cube-shaped package. I love Softlips products so seeing this incredible cool shaped lip product excited me. The shape reminded me of EOS balls which I buy just for the shape but their product isn't very moisturizing. I now have a cool shaped lip balm that also is moisturizing!

Finally there is the new Playtex Sport Fresh Balance. This tampon is designed to neutralize odors for ultimate freshness on and off the field. To me tampons are tampons and it depends on the person whether they like it or not. But I have used the Playtex brand before and I do like their tampons.

As you can tell I was happy with this box. The two products that I was really happy with was the the Softlips Cube and the Pilot Clicker Pens. The rest of the products I enjoyed but was not as excited with them as I was with my two favorites. I'm always excited to receive a box from Influenster, hopefully I will be able to receive another box from them soon!

Have any more questions about the products? Did you receive this box or different one? Let me know in the comments I would love to hear about it!
